Susan was immersed in classical music at a young age, beginning with piano lessons at a local conservatory in the San Fernando Valley. Important mentors in musicology and piano have been Charles Galloway (fifteen years in Los Angeles), Alessandra Althoff-Pugliese (Florence, Italy), Elizabeth Irek Tholberg (Woodland Hills, California), and Professor John Schneider, PhD (Woodland Hills, California.) While in graduate school in business at California Lutheran University, Susan was impressed with a classmate's wife--pianist-composer Carol Cole’s (BA,MA, USC) original music and she introduced Carol to James Centorino (BA, MA Boston Conservatory). Jim and Carol went on to create music albums, and performed live through the years. The albums "Ivory" and "Footsteps in the Sand" were sold at Disney Resorts, zoos, aquariums and state parks, and broadcast on radio, television and theme parks, including Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Susan Centorino is the composer and performer of "Sous la pluie" ("In the Rain") Digital Download for From The Heart available at:
